About this generation

The second-generation Tatra 111 introduced a new all-metal cab originally developed for the Tatra 128. The revised cab improved driver accommodation and visibility while retaining the Tatra 111 backbone chassis, independent suspension and air-cooled V12 diesel powertrain. This version was used extensively for military, construction and civil transport applications.
