About TruckFoundry

TruckFoundry is an independent reference database for historical and current commercial trucks. It brings together manufacturers, model families, generations, engines and technical specifications to make truck history easier to explore.

Records are researched against manufacturer material and other appropriate historical or technical sources where available. Verified information is kept distinct from data that remains unresolved; a missing value is preferable to an unsupported claim.

TruckFoundry is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any truck manufacturer. Manufacturer names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Hero images currently use Wikimedia Commons where suitable material is available. Individual generation pages provide creator, source and license attribution where that information is available, and the applicable image license remains in force.

Corrections, missing information and attribution concerns are welcome. The Contact page explains the types of feedback TruckFoundry is prepared to review.
