About this generation

The second-generation Volvo FH16 introduced a redesigned cab with improved aerodynamics, higher comfort and enhanced safety. It also marked the arrival of Volvo's revolutionary I-Shift automated manual transmission, which quickly became one of the industry's most successful heavy-duty gearboxes.
