About this generation

The first-generation Sisu E-Series was presented in November 1995 as the successor to the S-Series and represented a major new development for Sisu. It introduced a completely new Finnish-designed cab developed around improved ergonomics, comfort and aerodynamics, while retaining heavy-duty chassis and powertrain technology suited to demanding Nordic transport, construction and vocational applications. The initial range consisted of the E11 and E14, powered by Cummins 11- and 14-litre diesel engines.
