About this generation
The modern International PayStar was a severe-service truck family used for construction, oilfield, logging, mining, heavy-haul and other demanding vocational applications. The range included 5500i, 5600i and 5900i variants, with both set-forward- and set-back-axle configurations. International continued the PayStar family into the 2010s before the newly introduced HX Series replaced it in 2016.
