International introduced the TranStar cab-over-engine highway tractor line in 1968.
PayStar
Introduced 1972
The International PayStar name has been used for severe-service trucks designed for demanding vocational work including construction, mining, oilfield, logging and heavy haul. Originating as a historical International heavy-duty family, the name was later reused for modern severe-service models including the 5500i, 5600i and 5900i before the HX Series replaced PayStar in 2016.
S-Series

International introduced the S-Series truck range in 1977.
9000 Series
Introduced 1981
International introduced the 9000 Series heavy-duty truck range in 1981.
ProStar
Introduced 2006
The International ProStar was introduced as an aerodynamic Class 8 highway tractor focused on fuel efficiency, driver comfort and long-haul productivity. It became International's principal aerodynamic road tractor and later formed the engineering basis for the distinctive LoneStar.
DuraStar
Introduced 2008
The International DuraStar was the medium-duty successor to the 4000 Series and adopted the DuraStar name for the 2008 model year. Built for pickup and delivery, utility, recovery and numerous vocational roles, it continued International's long-running Class 6 and Class 7 medium-duty truck lineage.
LoneStar
Introduced 2008
The International LoneStar debuted in 2008 as an aerodynamic 'Advanced Classic' Class 8 tractor combining traditional American long-hood visual cues with the aerodynamic engineering of the ProStar platform. It targeted owner-operators and premium highway applications with distinctive styling, driver comfort and improved fuel efficiency.
WorkStar
Introduced 2008
The International WorkStar adopted its Star-family name for the 2008 model year as the severe-duty successor to International's 7000-series vocational trucks. It served construction, municipal, utility and other heavy vocational applications where durability and high-capacity chassis configurations were central requirements.
HX
Introduced 2016
International launched the HX Series in 2016 as a severe-service truck family to replace PayStar.
HV
Introduced 2017
International launched the HV Series vocational truck line in 2017.
LT
Introduced 2017
International began customer shipments of LT Series vehicles with the A26 engine in 2017.
RH
Introduced 2017
International launched the RH Series regional-haul tractor in 2017.
MV
Introduced 2018
The International MV Series is a Class 6/7 medium-duty platform available with regular, extended and crew cabs for delivery, towing, utility, construction and other body-upfit applications.
