About this generation
The Sisu M-Series was introduced in 1969 as a new forward-control heavy-duty truck range developed for demanding Nordic transport. Built around a tilting cab and robust chassis, the M-Series was offered in multiple axle configurations for logging, tanker work, long-distance transport and heavy vocational applications. The range included the M-161, M-162, M-163 and later four-axle M-168, with engines supplied by Leyland, Rolls-Royce and Cummins.
