About this generation
The 1996 Scania T-series generation continued Scania's long tradition of bonneted trucks with a modern conventional-cab design related to the company's contemporary heavy-truck range. It served markets and applications that favoured a bonneted layout and remained part of Scania's range into the transition to the P-, R- and T-series before T-model production ended in 2005.
