About this generation
The Freightliner Century Class was introduced in 1995 as an aerodynamic heavy-duty truck focused on fuel economy, payload, driver safety and productivity.
The Century Class replaced the FLD as Freightliner's modern aerodynamic conventional flagship and introduced a new generation of highway-oriented design.
