WF Series
Introduced 1953
The Freightliner WF Series was an early cab-over-engine truck family developed for long-haul transportation. The series included the WF64 and the four-wheel-drive WF-5844 Mountaineer variant.
Turboliner
Introduced 1965
The Freightliner Turboliner was introduced in 1965 with a Boeing gas-turbine powerplant and represented an early experiment with alternative propulsion for heavy-duty trucks.
Powerliner
Introduced 1973
The Freightliner Powerliner was introduced in 1973 as a high-output flagship truck featuring a large-capacity cooling system and a 600-horsepower engine.
FLL
Introduced 1976
The Freightliner FLL was introduced in 1976 as a driver-friendly low-cab-forward truck expanding Freightliner's product range beyond its traditional cab-over-engine models.
FLD
1987–2009
