Overview
The 17.6-litre Tatra T930 air-cooled V12 diesel was developed from the T928 V8 used in the Tatra 138. In the Tatra 813 it produced approximately 270 hp and 991 Nm. The naturally aspirated V12 used direct fuel injection and was designed for extreme heavy-duty and all-terrain applications. Military versions were capable of operating on multiple fuels.
