Overview
The 12.7-litre Tatra T2-928E air-cooled V8 diesel was introduced with the T2-148 modernization in 1979. It produced approximately 202 hp and incorporated improvements aimed at reducing noise and fuel consumption while meeting contemporary EHK requirements. The T2-928E retained the same basic engine architecture as the earlier T2-928-1.
