The 2004 Volvo VNL introduced a major redesign of Volvo's North American long-haul truck, with revised exterior styling, improved aerodynamics and an updated driver environment. This generation remained the foundation of the VNL range through multiple powertrain and equipment updates before the next major redesign in 2018.
