About this generation
The second-generation Volvo FL was introduced in 2006 as a completely new medium-duty truck. It featured a redesigned cab focused on ergonomics, safety and driver comfort, together with the new 7.3-litre D7E engine. Designed primarily for urban distribution and regional transport, the FL was also available for refuse collection, construction and other vocational applications.
