Introduced 1956
The FAW Jiefang CA10 was the first generation of Jiefang trucks and the first domestically produced automobile of its kind in the People's Republic of China, entering production in 1956. It established the Jiefang name and became a foundational medium-duty truck in the early development of China's automotive industry.
CA141
Introduced 1986
The FAW Jiefang CA141 represented the second generation of the Jiefang truck lineage, entering production in 1986. Developed independently by FAW during China's period of industrial reform, it modernized the company's medium- and heavy-truck offering and succeeded the original CA10 generation.
J4
Introduced 2002
The FAW J4 represented the fourth generation of the Jiefang truck line and entered production in 2002. The generation formed part of FAW's transition toward more integrated heavy-truck powertrains and chassis systems at the start of the 2000s.

Introduced 2004
The FAW Jiefang J5 represented the fifth generation of Jiefang heavy trucks, introduced in 2004. It continued FAW's transition toward modern cab-over heavy trucks and formed the immediate predecessor to the sixth-generation J6.

The FAW J6 is the sixth generation of the Jiefang truck family, launched in 2007 as a new high-end commercial-vehicle platform. The range developed into tractors, rigid trucks and vocational variants and became one of FAW's principal heavy- and medium-duty truck families.

The FAW Jiefang J6L is a medium-duty member of the wider J6 product family, launched in 2012. It adapted Jiefang's modern J6 design and technology direction to medium-duty regional transport, distribution and vocational applications.

The FAW Jiefang J7 was introduced in 2018 as the seventh generation of the Jiefang heavy-truck lineage. Positioned as a high-end flagship, it advanced the brand's focus on efficient long-haul transport, intelligent vehicle technology, safety and driver comfort.
